JENNIFER LOPEZ has ditched the performing name of J-Lo — in a bid to dump her reputation as a diva. The 37-year-old, famous for being demanding and stroppy, said her alter-ego was meant to be fun but “got out of control and really crazy”. She added: “That’s all gone with the ridiculous stories about me throwing tantrums and insisting on Egyptian sheets. That’s all firmly in my past.” The beauty yesterday told of her plans to take on more serious film roles and music projects.

UGLY Betty for UGLY Victoria!
Victoria Beckham is in negotiations to play herself in an upcoming episode of hit sitcom Ugly Betty. Show regular Eric Mabius revealed the news during a recent interview, explaining producers have made the initial steps to sign the singer up when she becomes a Los Angeles resident later this summer (07). Mabius says, "Victoria is keen and so are we. We can see her fitting in as a cameo now she is about to be big in the U.S."
